cook.

a professional eater by way of Buenos Aires.
I’m a writer, photographer, cook and tour operator based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina for the last decade.
My career in food began with MASA in mid-2013 as a culinary experiment between two friends. Once a week, eight strangers enjoyed a four-course meal at my dining room table. In late 2016, MASA moved out of the private home experience to a pop-up project that hosts regular events in various restaurants across Buenos Aires. The project seeks out the balance between original dishes inspired by the Mexican food of my California adolescence and questions of access and community in the Buenos Aires restaurant world. Much of our ingredients are agroecological or organic purchased directly from producers.
I have written about Buenos Aires’ food and culture since 2015. In July 2020, I launched Matambre Mag, a newsletter about food culture in Buenos Aires and around Argentina. I have written for Eater, Vittles London, Whetstone, Departures, Punch and Conde Nast Traveler. I also contribute recipes to Serious Eats and Saveur.
I offer ghostwriting services for everything food and drink, lending my unique voice and food writing expertise to your book, website, content, or any other culinary project you want to cook up. To get in touch about writing and editing projects or other collabs, please email me!
